The USB bus of the Firefly will take 2 USB 2.0
bus ports from the connected PC/Notebook to get sufficient
current to drive the Firefly optical disc drive. Most of the
PC/Notebooks available in the recent years don¡¦t limit the power
current of their USB ports to 500mA; thus in quite a few
occasions, you will be able to use the drive with just one USB
port. We also provide optional AC adapter for the users with the
old PC/Notebooks which USB 1.0 ports don¡¦t have sufficient power
to drive the Firefly.¡@ |
